Loyang is city district in the west of a province Henan in China. In the east The district adjoins in the east city district Cheng-chou — capital of a province Henan.
In past Loyang was one of capitals of China, the city has the big cultural-historical value for the Chinese civilisation.
The most ancient history often intertwines with legends that is trully concerning Loyang. Look at the city symbol - a peony. Its told that the empress of the U Tszetjan state has ordered to exile a flower as he has blossomed in the winter. Since then in a city annually celebrates the holiday of peonies from April, 15 till April, 25th.
The city is build on the northen side of river Lou. The river flows from west to east and the sun is on south of the river, so that the sun shine is always on north side of the river. In the Loyang surrounding there are lots of mountains where the famous caves were cuted, as well as green.
